This was the longest, largest-scale, and most sacrificial national liberation struggle against foreign invasion in modern Chinese history, and the first national liberation struggle to achieve complete victory. This great victory marked a historical turning point for the Chinese nation from a deep crisis in modern times to great rejuvenation, was an important part of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War, and was a victory for the Chinese people as well as the peoples of the world.
